Verdiani

Brand Identity, Art Direction

I developed the visual identity for Verdiani, a second-generation family-owned Italian bistro named after the family behind it. The goal was to reflect its heritage through an identity that feels relevant today, with an understated character designed to last. A custom hand-lettered logotype draws inspiration from classic Italian storefronts. Deep green, aged linen, and porcelain white create a warm, restrained palette, bringing a familiar character to signage, menus, uniforms, tableware, takeaway packaging, and wine labels. The photography carries the same approach: espresso being poured, desserts shared at the table, and the textures of natural materials. Everyday moments take the lead over staged compositions, capturing the warmth of a neighborhood bistro and the family story behind it.
