Caffè Porto

Brand Identity, Packaging Design

I developed the visual identity and packaging for Caffè Porto, a coffee shop and bakery in central Porto, Portugal. The café serves its own roasted coffee and bakes fresh pastries each morning, with a dedication to making things from scratch. That care extends to the smallest ingredients: butter is churned in-house from cream sourced from the owners’ farm, and raspberry jam is made in the café’s kitchen from real berries. This hands-on approach became the starting point for an identity built around a simple promise: “Good coffee. No rush.” Vivid blue and white give the brand a confident, recognizable presence. The logo pairs flowing script with bold block lettering, bringing together the warmth of a neighborhood café and the energy of a contemporary coffee brand. Condensed typography keeps menus and coffee labels clear, while handwritten details add a personal touch. The identity extends across coffee tins, bags, takeaway cups, and bakery packaging. Origin and score information highlight the coffee itself, while a consistent graphic language connects every item back to the café.
